Ram Kapoor, a known actor of B-town as well as small screen has established himself in acting world. In Karan Johar's Student of the year, he played Varun Dhawan’s father also was seen as Katrina Kaif’s father in the Karan's latest production.

According to Ram, Karan is “one of the easiest directors” of Bollywood. He added, “He is confident, and knows exactly what he wants. Because of that, everything becomes incredibly easy on the sets. He is always prepared for everything." 

On criticism Ram says, "Criticism has never really affected me". He added, “Be it good or bad, I have always read things about myself, and disregarded them. Hence, when I do films like Humshakals, and get bad reviews, it doesn’t bother me. Over the years, I’ve realised that actors will always have more negative articles written about them than positive ones."
