With the highly awaited consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya just around the corner, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has launched a dedicated weather webpage for the region. This timely initiative, unveiled four days before the grand event, aims to provide attendees and organizers with important weather information in a user-friendly format.

Multilingual Weather Updates for Key Locations

The newly revealed webpage presents comprehensive weather updates, including crucial details such as temperature, precipitation, humidity, and wind patterns. What makes it unique is its inclusivity, offering information in major global languages like Hindi, English, Urdu, Chinese, French, and Spanish. Key locations like Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Lucknow, and New Delhi are highlighted, ensuring a wide audience can access relevant weather forecasts.

Idol's Grand Arrival at the Temple

Wednesday evening marked a significant moment as the idol of Ram Lalla, created by Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, arrived at the newly constructed temple. The 'shyamal' idol, weighing approximately 150kg, was carefully placed in the sanctum sanctorum with the help of a mobile crane. Sculptor Arun Yogiraj personally oversaw the meticulous installation to ensure the idol's safe arrival and positioning.

Symbolic Rituals and Preparations

In preparation for the main event, symbolic rituals were performed using a silver idol as a representation of the original. This symbolic idol was paraded around the temple complex on a palaki, facilitating its transportation. The intricate rituals, scheduled to continue until January 21, involve prayers to Lord Ganpati and the initiation of sacred rituals to establish the idol as the permanent deity of the temple. The proceedings, overseen by 121 'acharyas,' are set to commence the 'Pran Pratishtha' at 12:20 pm on January 22, concluding by 1 pm.

Live Telecast Details

For those unable to attend the ceremony in person, a live telecast has been arranged between 11 am and 1 pm from the newly constructed Ram temple in Ayodhya. The broadcast will be available on DD News and DD National channels of Doordarshan, with a YouTube link shared for other broadcasters. Equipped with cutting-edge 4K technology, nearly 40 cameras installed by Doordarshan will provide live coverage from various locations in Ayodhya, including the new Ram temple complex, Ram ki Paidi near Saryu ghat, and the Jatayu statue at Kuber Tila. This comprehensive live coverage, available in multiple languages, aims to ensure that the historic consecration ceremony reaches a global audience.
