Indore: Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh, claimed to have created a world record by the Bharatiya Janata Party by waving saffron flags in every house on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri. Along with the same lines, now the city Congress has also taken a pledge to install lamps at every house on Ram Navami to build its Hindutva image.

According to Vivek Khandelwal, the birth anniversary of Lord Ram is celebrated on Ram Navami on the last day of Navratri. It is written in the scriptures that Lord Shriram was born on Ram Navami itself. With an aim to treat Ram Navami as Diwali, the Congress is distributing 11 packets of lamps from house to house in each ward of Indore with the slogan of 'Har Ghar Deepak Ghar-Ghar Deepak.' For this, special lamps have been made as well as special boxes have also been made. It will also have a flag with an earthen lamp. Lamps will be distributed to 500 houses in each ward and the event will continue every year like this year.

Let us tell you that, the way the photo of former CM Kamal Nath has been put on the packet of lamps to be distributed by the Congress, it seems that this kind of work is being organized in view of the upcoming elections. The intention behind this is to increase its decreasing vote percentage and regain its lost ground not only in the city but also in the state.
