Patna: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Chirag Paswan is scheduled to hold a big event in Patna on September 12, the first anniversary of his father and Dalit leader Ram Vilas Paswan. He has sent top national leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Congress President Sonia Gandhi to attend the event. According to the information received, Chirag informed about this last Tuesday.

However, the event is considered politically important as it is being held at a time when Chirag Paswan is fighting with his uncle and Union minister Pashupati Kumar Paras over his father's legacy. According to the information received, Chirag Paswan also visited uncle Paras' residence in New Delhi to attend the function. Chirag said last Tuesday that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav have also been invited. Also, tell you that there are deep differences between Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan.

Some sources said the urban development ministry had sent an initial notice to vacate the house after Ram Vilas's death but the family was allowed to stay in the residence for the time being after Chirag met senior government functionaries on the matter. Let us also inform you that Ram Vilas Paswan passed away on 8th October last year. As per the information received, Jamui MPs are organizing the anniversary program on 12th September on the basis of Chirag Parparik Panchang.
