Ravana is finally killed in the TV serial Ramayan being telecast on Doordarshan. Shriram fears that if he is delayed for a day to reach Ayodhya, then his mother Kaushalya should not take the step of surrendering himself to fire. At the same time, Pawanputra Hanuman disguises and meets Bharata and informs him that Shri Ram is about to reach Ayodhya. When Bharat expresses his happiness on this matter, he himself comes in his form and increases his happiness even more. After this, news of Rama's arrival in the palace spreads and all the people are happily engaged in preparations. The entire Ayodhya is decorated like a bride.
