Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has tested positive for Covid-19. The news has been shared by himself taking it to Twitter. The Education Minister tweeted “All the work of Education Ministry is being conducted normally observing necessary precautions.” 

 

He has recently shared an update about his health, writing “This is to inform you all that I have tested COVID positive today. I am taking medication & treatment as per the advice of my doctors. Request all those who have come in my contact recently to be observant, and get themselves tested.” As the country struggles with the rising number of COVID-19 cases, it seems the political class is also not safe from the current state of country.  Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tested positive for COVID-19. The leader on Tuesday informed about the development on Twitter. In the same view Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Jitendra Singh also tested positive for COVID-19 8n this week on 20 April. He also took it to Twitter announcing that he had tested positive with symptoms and urged those who came in contact with him get themselves tested.

 

While, Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to AIIMS Hospital on Monday, 19 April. He was also tested positive for coronavirus. He had been experiencing mild symptoms but was admitted in light of his health history and past surgeries.
