On January 22, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh had their 40th wedding anniversary, for which a big celebration was planned. The reason for cancelling this celebration was the death of Rishi Kapoor's sister Ritu Nanda. Ritu Nanda was fighting a major disease like cancer and he died on 14 January. The sudden demise of Ritu Nanda has an atmosphere of grief in the Kapoor family and no one is showing interest in any kind of celebrations. Due to this, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt left their big plans and made a small private celebration. Rishi and Neetu were closely present in this. On this occasion also Alia Bhatt used her baking talent and baked cakes for Neetu and Rishi. In this, Alia enlisted the help of Head Chef Dilip Pandit. This is not the first time Alia has made a cake for the Kapoor family. Earlier, Alia baked the cake for Ranbir's birthday too.
