Ranbir Kapoor, who is known for his love for sneakers, recently revealed that he is planning to pass it down to his kid and make him/her a ‘sneaker freaker’.
Talking about the same, the actor told a news portal that he himself is a sneaker freaker and they are the only things he spends his money on. However, Ranbir stated that as he has grown older, he is less excited by material things. He is building a house now and that’s something he is excited about. The actor has been shopping more for furniture and home decor things. And he has even stopped buying cars often. The car he is currently driving these days is eight years old. Ranbir clarified that he is not really a shopaholic to be precise.
However, as far as sneakers are concerned, Ranbir added that it is something he will continue to collect because it’s the only kind of footwear he is comfortable wearing. The actor also hoped that he would pass these down to his children. Ranbir concluded by saying that he will try and make his daughter or son a sneaker freaker, too.
Ranbir’s recent release, ‘Shamshera’ has been receiving mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike. It also starred Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in key roles.
Next, Ranbir will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring his lovely wife Alia Bhatt. The film will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in key roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
Apart from this, Ranbir also has films like Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ and Luv Ranjan’s untitled next.
