Ranbir Kapoor’s period Drama Shamshera has already hit the theatre and now Ranbir is all set to shoot for his upcoming movie. In the movie, the actor is playing a grey role and Ranbir’s clean shave photo from the Animal shoot is already doing rounds on the internet.

In a recent interview speaks about playing a grey character in the upcoming movie and said, “I was [stunned] to hear the script. It’s the most shocking part I have ever done. I am scared to rejoin that film. It is a great opportunity for me as an actor. No one expects me to do such a role. I hope the audience is ready for that film from me." Ranbir Kapoor has also talked about the physical transformation he went through for the film. He had taken a break in April to especially bulk up for the film. Talking about his physical transformation for the role. Speaking about the transformation the actor said, “The movie requires me to nail the grey shades rightly, and the physicality adds to [the character’s menacing ways] in terms of visuals. I have put on a lot of muscle."

In a photo from the set of Animal movie widely circulated, Ranbir Kapoor, In the photo Anil Kapoor and the other cast and crew of the film, are seen together in outdoors at the Pataudi Palace in Delhi. Ranbir and Anil looked very stylish in their clean-shaven look. While Anil Kapoor was sported wearing a full-sleeved black shirt and black trousers, Ranbir Kapoor was wearing a turtle-neck black full-sleeved t-shirt and black trousers.

Besides Ranbir the cast also consists of Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol, apart from Ranbir and Anil. Ranbir Kapoor will however be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni, on 11th September.
