Recently the news of pregnant elephant died in Kerela is being criticised all over the country. Bollywood stars have also been greatly hurt on the death of a pregnant elephant. So far, Anushka Sharma, while venting her anger on this matter, demanded strict action from the government and after that actor, Randeep Hooda has demanded strict action from the Kerala government. Recently Randeep Hooda also tagged Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and Prakash Javadekar and shared the photo saying, "An act most #inhumane to willfully feed a pineapple full of firecrackers to friendly wild pregnant #Elephant is just unacceptable..strict action should be taken against the culprit's sir @vijayanpinarayi @CMOKerala @PrakashJavdekar @moefcc @ntca_india".

This matter came to light when a forest officer in Malappuram in Northern Kerala shared this incident on his Facebook page. This post became viral as soon as the forest officer shared it and about 1200 people re-shared it. Mohan Krishnan, who was part of the rescue team on this, wrote on Facebook, "The female elephant had reached the nearby village in search of food. She was wandering here and there. After this, some people fed her pineapples filled with crackers.

Mohan Krishnan further wrote, "The firecrackers were so effective, that her mouth and tongue were badly injured. She wandered throughout the village in search of food. Due to pain, she could not eat anything. The female elephant, despite being injured, did not harm anyone, did not attack anyone. She was very straight and calm.''
