Recently, Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has announced his next film, Inshallah, which features Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in his next directorial. Now according to the report thefilmmaker has got on board Randeep Hooda for his next production, a thriller, which is yet to be titled.
According to the report in Mumbai Mirror, the film, which will mark the directorial debut of Balwinder Singh Janjua, will be set in a small town. Janjua has previously written Mubarakan, Firangi and has also penned the yet-to-release, Saand Ki Aankh. Informing the tabloid that Randeep will play a cop in the film, the source stated that the director is set to start the recce soon. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the film is expected to go on floors in August this year.

The source has been quoted as saying, "Randeep plays a cop in the film which has a lot of twists and turns. Balwinder has been working on the script for a long time and recently started pre-production. He will start the recce shortly."

On the work front, Randeep Hooda was last seen in Baaghi 2, co-starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, will next star in Imtiaz Ali's remake of Love Aaj Kal, featuring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan in the lead.
