Jaipur: A Muslim village development officer is charged with raping a women and compelling her to accept Islam and marry him. To make the victim comply with his demands, the man also recorded the despicable conduct.
The accused is 57 years old, while the victim is 38 years old. A complaint has been filed against the accused for raping the women, recording it, and coercing the woman into marrying her. The accused, Ajmal Khan, is a village development officer, saidthe police. Khan has already wed two different women.
According to the claimed victim, Khan sexually assaulted her after giving her a drink. The accused allegedly blackmailed the victim after filming the deed, according to the woman. If the mother doesn't comply with Khan's demands, he allegedly threatened to kidnap her 8-year-old daughter and sell her in the neighbouring state.
The victim claims that the accused converted her to Islam against her will and then married her on December 17, 2021. The victim's and her daughter's names were likewise changed by the accused.
The accused also changed the name of the victim and her daughter. The FIR filed with the police claims that the accused Ajmal married the woman and frequently beat her ruthlessly.
On April 2, 2023, when the woman came to know that the accused had gone to meet his first wife, she also chased him. On seeing the woman, Khan brutally assaulted her. The accused also filed a case under Section 420 against the woman complainant.
According to the police, investigators are attempting to corroborate the complainants' accusations. The matter is still being investigated, and after the collection of evidence, all parties will be interrogated, police said.
