Yes, Rasika Joshi was very famous for her comedy acting in Bollywood. Rasika was born on September 12, 1972, to a Marathi Brahmin family. She started her career in theatre but died at the age of 38 due to cancer. She is married to actor-director Girish Joshi.

She also worked as a director in many theatres. Her famous play was 'White Lily and Night Rider', she wrote and directed it. This drama became very popular. After Marathi, Rasika also played many memorable roles in Hindi cinema and television. Rasika made her debut in Hindi cinema with the film Ek Haseena. Since this movie, she became director Priyadarshan's favourite actress. Rasika has appeared in films like 'Billu', 'Dhol', 'Bhul Bhulaiyaa', 'Gaayab', 'Ek Hasina Thi', 'De Tali', 'Malamaal Weekly' etc. Rasika's character was strong in all these movies. Not only this, the audience started laughing at seeing her comic plays. Rasika's last movie was Ram Gopal Varma's 'Not A Love Story.'
