Bollywood's comedian actress Rasika Joshi has appeared in many movies. You may not be able to recognize her by name, but seeing her face, you will remember many of her movies. Yes, Rasika Joshi was very famous for her comedy acting in Bollywood. Rasika was born on September 12, 1972, to a Marathi Brahmin family. She started her career in theatre but died at the age of 38 due to cancer. She is married to actor-director Girish Joshi.  

Rasika Joshi started her career with theatre. After which she has also appeared in many television shows and movies. Rasika has also worked as a director and scriptwriter along with acting. She also worked as a director in many theatres. Her famous play was 'White Lily and Night Rider', she wrote and directed it. This drama became very popular. For this, she has also been awarded many awards.  

After Marathi, Rasika also played many memorable roles in Hindi cinema and television. Rasika made her debut in Hindi cinema with the film Ek Haseena. Since this movie, she became director Priyadarshan's favourite actress. Rasika has appeared in films like 'Billu', 'Dhol', 'Bhul Bhulaiyaa', 'Gaayab', 'Ek Hasina Thi', 'De Tali', 'Malamaal Weekly' etc. Rasika's character was strong in all these movies. Not only this, the audience started laughing at seeing her comic plays. Rasika's last movie was Ram Gopal Varma's 'Not A Love Story.'
