KERALA- Thiruvananthapuram: The biography of Indian industrialist and Tata Sons chairman emeritus Ratan Tata will be written by Thomas Mathew, a former senior administrator and retired official the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
In 2016, Shri Thomas Mathew stepped down as additional secretary to then-President Pranab Mukherjee. In his earlier days in Kerala, he served in a few departments and was a favourite official of Congress veteran K. Karunakaran.
According to reliable sources, HarperCollins has secured the rights to publish the work, which will be published in two volumes at a cost of Rs 2 crore.
While the publisher has the rights to the print edition, Over The Top (OTT), film scripts, and other items, Mathew will own the rights to everything else.
