New Delhi: Team India coach Ravi Shastri said that he highly respects BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and who questions his relationship 'they don't care'. Last week, Ganguly termed speculation of differences with Shastri a blank rumor. Talking to the media, Shastri said, 'As far as Sourav-Shastri is concerned, it is chilli masala for the media like chaat and Bhelpuri.'

Ravi Shastri said, 'I greatly respect what Ganguly has done as a cricketer.' The coach of Team India said that, 'Ganguly took command of Indian cricket in the most difficult phase after the betting case. You need the trust of the people to come back and I respect it and if nobody respects it, I don't care about it.

Let us tell you that differences between Ravi Shastri and former India captain Sourav Ganguly became public in 2016, when Shastri applied for the post of coach and Ganguly was in the Cricket Advisory Committee which chose Anil Kumble. Was Shastri termed Ganguly as the president after three years of running the board in a democratic manner without any democratic means.
