New Delhi: Team India's spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin has once again played a key role in Team India's victory by performing well on Indian wickets. Ashwin has achieved many new milestones by taking 12 wickets in the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Ashwin has also taken 6 wickets in the first Test match played in Mohali and 6 wickets in the day-night Test match played in Bengaluru. Team India has won both the matches by a big margin.

Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has also completed his century in the Test Championship with 12 wickets in the series, leaving behind 4 players of world cricket. In Bengaluru, Ashwin caught Sri Lanka's last batsman Vishwa Fernando at the hands of Mohammed Shami to give the Indian team a big victory by 238 runs and also completed his 100 wickets in the Test championship. Ashwin is the first bowler in the world to achieve this feat.

Second on the list is Australian captain Pat Cummins, who has 93 wickets in 20 Test matches to his name. Ashwin has completed 100 wickets in 40 innings of 21 Test matches at an average of 19.66 and a strike rate of 47. Ashwin has taken more than 5 wickets in an innings 4 times in this tournament. Cummins will also have a golden opportunity to complete 100 wickets in the Pakistan tour itself. England's Stuart Broad is third with 83 wickets in the list and New Zealand's Tim Southee (80) at number four.
