Ravichandran Ashwin, Indian off-spinner, has been entitled as the Don Bradman of bowling by Steve Waugh, former Australia captain. Waugh pointed out that Australian team would need to overcome a player like Ashwin during the upcoming tour of India.
Australian team would have to keep calm under pressure and sort out the ways to handle Ashwin's bowling in the next four-day Test series in the home starting from 23rd of this month.
Waugh said, "Ashwin is basically the Bradman of bowling. What he is doing is quite incredible. I think he is the player we have to overcome. The Australians would have to look at ways to overcome Ashwin's bowling. If Aussies can do that then we will have a chance. The guys need to stay calm under pressure."
Pointing out on Ashwin's way of bowling, Waugh vocalised "The way he is playing at the moment, he is going to break a number of records. Ashwin's statistics are just mindboggling."
