London: ICC, Team India is practising hard ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) final. Virat Kohli-led Team India is currently playing an intra squad practice match in Southampton. The final match of the World Test Championship between India and New Zealand will be played at the same ground from June 18.

 

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video clip of the intra-squad practice match between Team India on Sunday on its official Twitter handle. The video practice is from the third day of the match. In this clip, Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is seen hitting a classical drive off Ishant Sharma. Ishant took three wickets on the second day of the match. Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten 54 off 76 balls in this intra-squad practice match, BCCI tweeted. Mohammad Siraj bowled brilliantly to take 2 for 22.

The Hyderabad bowler has caught the attention of the selectors ahead of the World Test Championship final with his strong bowling. Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah are all set to play in the final against New Zealand. Siraj and Ishant are vying for a place in the team as the third fast bowler.
