New Delhi: Virat Kohli-captained Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) may have lost the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) match on Sunday due to all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's superb last over batting, but Team India and RCB captain Virat Kohli have no complaints about it. RCB suffered a 69-run defeat against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday.

Kohli said after the match, 'Jadeja's ability can be seen by everyone. I am quite happy to see him performing with bat and ball and on the field. He said, "After two months he will play for team India and it is always a pleasure to see your main all-rounder do well with the bat. It gives many chances when he plays well and is full of confidence". Kohli also supported his pacer Harshal Patel who plundered a record 37 runs in the last over, putting up a huge score for CSK.

CSK was at 154 for four before the final over, but Jadeja added 37 runs in Harshal's final over, hitting a total of five sixes for four in a row. Kohli said "Harshal bowled well and we will continue to support him. We will give him the responsibility, he sent both the  batsmen to the pavilion"
