Patna: Rajsabha MP and RCP Singh, a leader very close to CM Nitish Kumar, has been appointed as the national president of JDU. This decision was taken at the RJD National Executive meeting. RCP Singh will replace Nitish Kumar. At the meeting, Nitish Kumar proposed to make RCP Singh the national president of the party, which was unanimously endorsed by all the members.

Today is the second day of JDU's two-day national executive meeting. In today's meeting, the current political situation of the country is being discussed. A decision can also be taken in the meeting if the elections are held in other states including West Bengal. Thereafter, a plan will be decided further. RCP Singh is also a retired IAS cadre officer, as well as playing his important role in strengthening JDU organization for a long time.

However, it has not yet been officially announced. CM Nitish Kumar said in the meeting that it is not the right thing to be CM and National President. We are there, we will stay together. Under RCP Singh, the party will move forward. I did not even want to become CM, but people said, I took up the position. Outside the party office, enthusiasm is being seen in RCP Singh supporters.
