China, one of those countries who performed tremendously at the Rio Olympics 2016 definitely has a reason behind. The country that finished third in the overall medal tally starts training children for Olympics at the age of 6.

Susan Brownwell, an anthropologist, on her visit to Shanghai Yangpu Youth Amateur Athletic School, in Beijing, China said, "You’ve tiny little kids, basically in diapers, and it's amazing to see what they can do at this age."

There are many such sports centres in China who train their kids to be future Olympians.On one side where this prove to be an asset to the country, whereas on the other side it is somewhere snatching the childhood of the little buds.
