Applications have been issued for the recruitment of teachers on a contract basis in English medium schools of Rajasthan. The application process for this recruitment started on 31st January itself. You will be able to apply online for this recruitment through the Rajasthan SSO portal. According to the recruitment advertisement issued by the Rajasthan Directorate of Education Office, Bikaner, recruitment is also going to be done in Mahatma Gandhi Government School (English Medium)/Government English Medium Schools operated under Secondary Education Department. Along with this, 9,172 teachers are also going to be recruited for English and Mathematics subjects of Assistant Teacher Level-1 and Teacher Level-2.

The last date of application for this recruitment is 1 March 2023. The recruitment of teachers on a contract is going to be done on the basis of merit. This merit is going to be made from the marks obtained in educational and co-educational qualifications.

How much salary will be given- Selected teachers will be given a salary of Rs 16,900 every month. After completing 9 years of service, the salary will be Rs 29,600.

Educational Qualification- Candidates must have a graduation from any recognized university. Along with this, it is also necessary to pass the REET exam. General/unreserved category candidates must have at least 60 percent marks in the REET exam. At the same time, it is necessary to have at least 55 percent marks for EWS/OBC/SC/ST category candidates and 50 percent marks for widow/abandoned/ex-serviceman. Along with this, it is necessary to have 40 percent marks for handicapped candidates and 36 percent marks for Sahriya.

Age limit- For recruitment to the posts of teachers in English schools of Rajasthan, candidates must be at least 21 years old and a maximum of 40 years old as on January 1, 2020. Relaxation in the maximum age limit is also being given to the reserved category candidates as per the rules.

Application Fee- The application fee for general category candidates is Rs.100 while for EWS category candidates the application fee is Rs.70 and for SC/ST the application fee is Rs.60.
