Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone Redmi Prime will be launched on August 4 at 12 noon. Smartphone sales will be on the e-commerce website Amazon. The company has released the teaser for the launch of Redmi Prime. This phone will be a re-branded version of Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A. The mobile can be launched in grey and green colour variants.

Xiaomi recently introduced Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Note 9 Pro and Note 9 smartphones in the country. In such a situation, it is being speculated that the Redmi Prime smartphone will be launched at a rate of Rs 10,000 under the budget category. Xiaomi has so far not made any major disclosure about Redmi Prime. But there is a hint of getting waterdrop notch display in the teaser of the phone. According to leaked reports, it will be the powerful gaming smartphone of Redmi.

If we talk about the specification of the phone, then Full HD + display will be available in the Redmi Prime smartphone. The MediaTek Helio G25 chipset has been given on the phone. Apart from this, a 13MP quad-camera setup will be available on the rear panel of the phone.

The Redmi 9 Prime smartphone will compete with Realme Narzo and Samsung Galaxy M01 Core in the country.
