Reema Lagoo, who gave many best and hit films in Bollywood, is no longer in this world. She was born on 21 June 1958. She has worked in many best films. Her mother Mandakani Bhadbhade was a famous artist of Marathi cinema, so since childhood, Reema also got inclined towards acting. She worked in the best films. She is known for her portrayal of her mother in films.

Unlike the common character of a mother who is depressed and wearing a white saree that sheds tears in Hindi cinema, Reema represented a lively and smiling modern mother through her characters. She was often seen on the show, in movies, as a smiling mother. She achieved a lot of headlines by playing the role of Salman Khan's mother in the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hai'. She achieved excellent popularity in the role of Madhuri Dixit's mother in the film Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Juhi Chawla's mother in 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'.

Reema started her journey from Marathi theater and made her debut in Marathi cinema in 1979 with the film 'Sinhasan'. In the year 1980, she stepped into Hindi cinema as a co-actress from the film Kalyug and after that, she went on to give hits. The actress Reema died on 18 May 2017 in Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to a heart attack.
