Reliance Industries Limited is working on a project to build the world's largest zoo in Jamnagar, Gujarat. It is believed that in the next 2 years it will be made open to the general public. It is claimed that it is the largest zoo in the world. Animals, birds and reptiles of all species will be kept in it. Animals will be brought here from different parts of India and the world. The project is being overseen by Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, MD of Reliance Industries Limited.

The zoo will be built on 280 acres. The zoo will be built near Moti Khawadi near where Reliance Refinery is in Jamnagar. This year there has been a slight delay in the project due to lockdown and COVID-19. In the next 2 years, this project will be completed and ready. Reliance's Corporate Affairs Director Parimal Nathwani says the project has been named Greens Geological Rescue and the Rehabilitation Kingdom. Approval of all departments of the Central and State Government has also been obtained.

The zoo will have different sections for all animals. There will be sections named as Forest of India, Frog House Insect, Live Dragon Land, Exotica Island, Wild Trails of Gujarat, Aquatic Kingdom. Here animals will be given the kind of environment that is suitable for their living. Talking about the species of animals on the surface, there will be major attractions such as barking deers, fishing cats, sloth bears (bears), wolves, komodo dragons. There will also be animals like the African lion, jaguar (leopard), cheetah, 20 giraffes, 12 ostriches, African elephant, Sarang etc. About 200 different types of fish will be present in the same frog house, while there will be 350 types of fish in the Aquatic Kingdom.
