Reliance Jio, a telecom giant in India, may offer a special surprise to its JioFiber preview consumers. According to a recent TOI report, these consumers will get this service for at least two months for free. Clearly, users who took a preview offer of Reliance Jio Fiber will not have to pay at least two months for Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technology. Jio will get this service free of charge for the first two months. After Jio's JioFiber roll-out on September 5, these customers will be able to use the home broadband service for free for up to 2 months. These users can get a refund of their Rs 2500 security deposit at any time. Installation charges will be Rs. 1000.
For your information, users who subscribe to JioFiber after Jio Fiber's commercial roll-out on September 5 will also have the option of a refundable security deposit of Rs. 1500. Its installation charges may be Rs 1000 as mentioned above. Reliance announced its JioFiber service on July 5 last year. Its regiments started on August 15 last year. The company disclosed its commercial roll-out at its AGM meeting earlier this month. The company also made some new announcements in its AGM regarding the JioFiber service. It had price and freebies, which consumers will get with broadband service.
If you talk about Reliance Jio Fiber plans, it's going to range from Rs 700 to Rs 10,000 per month. Subscribers will receive free voice calling from landline to any Indian operator. Under the Jio Fibre Welcome plan, consumers will get 4K LED TVs and 4K set-top boxes free. The company has also said that premium Jio Fiber users will also have the option to watch movies on the same day they will be released. Reliance Jio has not announced a full list of plans and tariffs. It will have to wait until September 5. The details will be posted on the company's website on September 5. In terms of speed, Jio claims that Jio Fiber's data speed will start from 100Mbps to 1Gbps.
