All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) supremo Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad. In fact, recently he said that because of this, it has become a big issue in the Gulf countries. He asked why you did not take action against your spokesperson earlier. In fact, Owaisi says that Saudi Arabia has now increased the price of oil from $2 to $6. If tomorrow Egypt and Saudi Arabia changed their policy, who will be responsible?

Apart from this, he also asked why it took ten days for PM Modi and his government to suspend the spokesperson. In this case, Pakistan today summoned the in-charge of the Indian High Commission to register its protest against the controversial remarks of two BJP leaders against Prophet Mohammad. The Foreign Office (FO) said in a statement, "The Indian diplomat was told that these statements are completely unacceptable and have hurt the sentiments of not only the people of Pakistan but also of Muslims around the world.'' The FO told the Indian diplomat, "The Government of Pakistan strongly condemns and rejects the most derogatory statements of two senior functionaries of the ruling BJP in India and rejects them completely."

"The Indian diplomat was told that Pakistan condemns the late and negligent disciplinary action taken by the BJP government against the said officials. This action cannot alleviate the suffering suffered by the Muslims. In New Delhi, the BJP on Sunday suspended its national spokesperson Nupur Sharma from the party for her controversial statements on Prophet Mohammad. The party leadership decided to expel the Delhi unit's media chief Naveen Kumar Jindal from the BJP.''

Amid the opposition of the Muslim community to the comments, the BJP in a way distanced itself from the statements of the two leaders, saying, "It respects all religions and it does not accept insulting the revered people of any religion." Pakistan's foreign office said, "Pakistan is deeply concerned about the increasing communal violence and hatred against Muslims in India at an alarming pace.''

The FO said, "The rapid rise of anti-Muslim slanderous sentiment into the mainstream and the growing efforts to deprive Muslims of their centuries-old places of worship, citing petty historical claims, is nothing but the obvious consequences of the deeply entrenched prejudice in Indian society."
