Chennai: PM Narendra Modi on Saturday (April 8) attended the celebrations organised to mark the 125th anniversary of the Ramakrishna Math in Chennai. During this, while addressing the ceremony, the Prime Minister said that I have great respect for the Ramakrishna Math. Math has played a very important role in my life. There is also reason to rejoice that the Ramakrishna Math is celebrating its 125th anniversary in Chennai. After this, PM Modi said that I like the Tamil language, the Tamil culture, and the atmosphere of Chennai very much.

 

 

PM Modi said in his address that Swamiji (Vivekananda) had discovered the goal of life while doing penance in Kanyakumari itself. The effect of this change in his life was not seen until Chicago. He said that Swami Vivekananda was from Bengal, but when he reached Tamil Nadu, he was given a grand welcome like a hero. This happened many years before India got independence. The concept of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat is clear in the minds of the people of the country since thousands of years ago.

PM Modi said that experts from all over the world say that this century belongs to India. Every Indian also feels like this. This amritkal can be used to achieve achievements by adopting five thoughts, or pancha pranas. PM Modi also told about five ideas. He said that the first is the goal of a developed India, the second is to remove all traces of the mentality of slavery, the third is to be proud of our rich heritage, the fourth is to further strengthen mutual unity, and the fifth is to perform one's civic duties.

Regarding women being empowered in India, PM Modi said that today's India believes in women-led development. Be it startups or sports, the defence sector or higher education, women are creating new records by overcoming all obstacles. Let us tell you that on Saturday (April 8), PM Modi was on a tour of South India. First, he flagged off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express in Hyderabad. After this, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of Bibinagar AIIMS. Apart from this, the PM laid the foundation stone for five national highway projects, the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station, and many other projects.
