Indians are still in the same phase of vulnerability with Coronavirus the same as before the continuous lockdown for about 68 days. The lock-down of 68 days was imposed by the Government of India in a total of 4 phases. According to government guidelines, everyone has to stay inside their houses. However, lockdown is discussed to re-implemented in different sectors of India amidst increasing cases of the corona.
With the unlocking, the entire country is returning back on track but many states and cities in are still in favor of a re-lockdown amid rising cases of corona virus. Several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Assam, announced the extension of the lockdown. Meanwhile, the news of lockdown is gaining momentum in Madhya Pradesh. Lockdown may be announced soon in several districts including Indore and Bhopal. Earlier, the MP government has announced complete lockdown in the state every Sunday which implemented from yesterday i.e., Sunday.
Is the re-imposition of lockdown is correct?
The question is whether lockdown implemented is in a country, state, or district, is it a feasible decision for people to put lockdown repeatedly? There are two things to be noticed. The first is the government understands the spread and how steadily it can attack us thus they work for the people of the country and state. The second is that there was a reduction in the cases of the corona by the first lockdown, thus lockdown is needed repeatedly. It can reduce the spread of this pandemic at an effective scale. It is a disease that no one knows when, where, and how it enters our body, without any negligence, the lockdown should still be on and so we can do justice to this decision.
