200 Silver coin found during excavation in Palamu, Jharkhand

Palamu: For the past several days, many kinds of incidents are coming out from all over the country. Meanwhile, another incident has come to light. In which about 200 silver coins filled in a metal pot have been found while digging in Bhalhi of Navdiha village under Panki block of Palamu district. All the coins are being told of the Mughal period. According to the information received, excavation was done from JCB for the leveling of the fields of Bachan Baitha. This excavated work is carved of some solid metal.

At the time of excavation, no one could know about it. Salim Mian, son of Zaheer Mian of Navdiha got this pot after washed away due to rain. When Salim took this pot at the house and opened it, he found silver coins in it. After getting the coins, he scattered it on the ground to count. After counting, more than 200 coins were found in it. There was a dispute about the division among the brothers. Then the matter reached the police station. Salim Mian handed over 102 coins to the Panki Police. Police is investigating the remaining coins.

During the earlier excavations in the fields, many coins were found. It has been reported that the Mughal silver coin has been found in the field of Naudiha village of Panki block. The report is being prepared at the administrative level. The silver coins found at the time are kept in Panki police station. Due to the excavation in Bhalhi of Poudi's Naudiha village, about 200 Mughal silver coins filled in the metal pot have created an atmosphere of curiosity in the area. During the leveling of the fields of Bachan Baitha, this pot has been found. After getting washed by the rain, the family of Zaheer Mian of Naudiha received this. Panki police is investigating the entire case. More information will be available only after investigation.
