Indore: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan hoisted the flag and took the salute of the ceremonial parade at the main event of the Republic Day to be held on January 26 at Nehru Stadium in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in his address said that we are celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Today is an amazing and unforgettable confluence of Amrit Mahotsav and Republic Day. We have celebrated the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Ji on 23rd January. Now the republic day festival will be celebrated from January 23 to January 26. I bow at the feet of Netaji. We did not get freedom in a silver saucer, but thousands of revolutionaries have sacrificed their all for it. On the one hand, there was a non-violent movement under the leadership of Bapu Ji, on the other hand, the revolutionaries painted the holy mother of Mother India with the last drop of their blood.

At the same time, Chief Minister Shivraj said that thanks to PM Narendra Modi, he not only brought the true story of the immortal martyred revolutionaries to India but also kept their memory and inspired them, so many monuments were built in India. I am happy that a huge statue of Netaji Bose will now be installed at India Gate.

Chief Minister Shivraj said that today is the day to bow at the feet of Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, who has identified every article of the Indian Constitution with his great talent. Today is a day of gratitude and bowing down to all the members of the Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly. Dr Rajendra Prasad, the Speaker of the Constituent Assembly and the first President of India, had said, "The Constitution is an inanimate object. Man put lives in it. Therefore, after the constitution has been made, the need is that in its operation, the true country servants should come out and selflessly bring them into the interest of the country and the public interest.''
