New Delhi: As India gears up to celebrate Republic Day on January 26, 2024, the government has unveiled the list of remarkable youngsters who will receive the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP). These awards recognize the extraordinary talents and remarkable accomplishments of children and teenagers.
The Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is bestowed upon individuals aged between 5 and 18 years, acknowledging excellence across seven distinct categories: bravery, environment, art and culture, science and technology, sports, and social service. Recipients of this honor receive a certificate, a medal, and a citation booklet.

Ahead of the award ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a dialogue with the awardees. Additionally, these young achievers will also take part in the Republic Day parade on January 26, 2024.
This year's recipients encompass a diverse range of talents. There is one winner each from the categories of science and technology, bravery, and innovation, along with four outstanding individuals recognized for their contributions to social service. Furthermore, five talented youngsters have been selected for their achievements in sports, while seven shining stars are being celebrated for their prowess in art and culture. Notably, this year's cohort comprises nine boys and ten girls, hailing from 18 different states and Union Territories.
