ISRO's tableau stole the spotlight with depictions of its latest achievements. The landing of Chandrayaan-3 near the Moon's south pole and the upcoming Aditya L-1 mission to study the Sun were showcased prominently. The tableau featured a model of the Launch Vehicle Mark-3 that propelled Chandrayaan-3 and revealed the lunar landing site dubbed Shiv Shakti Point by PM Modi. It also paid homage to ancient Indian astronomers like Aryabhatta and Varahamihir, alongside glimpses of future missions like Gaganyaan and Bhartiya Antariksh Station.

Meanwhile, CSIR's tableau celebrated the "purple revolution" unfolding in Bhaderwah, Jammu and Kashmir. This agricultural transformation spotlights the remarkable efforts of farmers-turned-entrepreneurs in cultivating lavender fields. The tableau narrated the journey from developing superior lavender varieties at CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine in Jammu to extracting essential oils and producing a range of lucrative products like perfumes, incense sticks, and medicinal items. Union Minister of Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh, hailed the Purple Revolution as a beacon of agricultural innovation, emphasizing its role in fostering a culture of startups in India.

In a nod to innovation, the CSIR tableau also showcased India's first compact electric tractor, designed to empower women farmers. Developed by CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute in Durgapur, this tractor symbolizes strides towards sustainable farming practices.

Highlighting the economic significance of lavender, the tableau featured a distillation unit extracting precious lavender oil, valued at a minimum of Rs 10,000 per liter. This aromatic commodity fuels the purple revolution, offering a myriad of products including soaps, air fresheners, and more.

The tableaux not only underscored India's scientific achievements but also celebrated the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship driving the nation forward.
