Republic TV anchor Vikas Sharma passes away due to coronavirus

New Delhi: Vikas Sharma, anchor of Republic Bharat TV, has passed away. Vikas had been ill for three days. He breathed his last at Kailash Hospital in Noida on Thursday evening. Vikas, 35, was a resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He was hit by Coronavirus infection a few days ago, although he fought this epidemic firmly and returned home after recovering.

A few days ago, he was admitted to the Kailash Hospital located in Sector 71, Noida, where he died on Thursday evening. His mortal remains are preparing to be taken to his ancestral place in Kanpur. He will be cremated there.

Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami has said that this is a huge loss for his news network. Many well-known personalities have also mourned the death of Vikas Sharma.
