Purnia: A shocking incident has come to light from Purnia in Bihar, where the Scorpio vehicle fell into a pit filled with water. In this accident, 8 persons in the car died on the spot. While two persons have been injured. The incident is from Angarh village of Bayasi area. The accident happened around 2 o'clock late in the night.
SDO Kumari Tausi of Bayasi said that all the victims of the accident were going back to Nunia village of Kishanganj district from Khapra Tarabari after fixing the marriage relationship. Because of this the accident happened. Suddenly Scorpio full of people fell into the pit from which bodies of 8 persons have been recovered so far. While two people have been injured in this accident.
Police and relief and rescue team reached the spot and carried out the rescue operation. The injured persons were sent for treatment while the bodies were kept in the hospital's mortuary for post-mortem. Kanjia's head Samarendra Ghosh said that the incident happened around 2 pm. Suddenly the Scorpio car fell into a pit filled with water. The accident happened due to the Scorpio being uncontrollable at a sharp turn. The chief said that all the deceased are residents of Kishanganj district. Baisa CO Rajasekhar said that news of one more person being trapped inside the vehicle is being received. Divers have been called. With their help, the person is being searched.
