Komal Sharma attacked by Bollywood actress Richa Chadha over the arrest of two Aligarh Muslim University AMU students Farhan Zuberi and Ravish Ali Khan. Komal Sharma is accused that she along with her colleagues in JNU attacked the students. Many students including JNU President Aishi Ghosh were badly injured in this attack. Police has not taken any action against Komal and her colleagues so far.

Regarding this, Richa has said that "But Komal Sharma is at large, hiding under an invisibility cloak." Richa is against some policies of the Modi government.
