While Payal Ghosh is requesting the government for security for itself, Richa Chadha has claimed defamation of Rs 1.1 crore against Payal Ghosh. In his statement, the film director Anurag Kashyap, who was accused of sexual harassment, also brought out the name of Richa Chadha, Huma Qureshi, Mahi Gill. Richa Chadha has taken legal action against the actress. However, no one was produced in the court from the side of the actress.

Richa has also registered a defamation case against the excess blood of Anklets, Kamal R Khan and a news channel. The actress claims that all of them have made many objectionable statements, which have led to their prestigious. Richa has appealed that the videos and statements made against them on social media should also be deleted. The case began hearing before Bombay High Court Judge Anil Menon on Monday. Meanwhile, no one on behalf of the actress was present in the court on the charges of Richa Chadha. The case will now be re-produced before the court on 7th October and all documents should be re-introduced.

According to media reports, while accusing Anurag Kashyap of sexual exploitation, Ghosh had said, "Anurag Kashyap called me home and said that many Bollywood actresses like Richa Chadha, Huma Qureshi and Mahi Gill are with me. In this case, the police interrogated Anurag Kashyap for 8 hours, and in the meantime Anurag has rejected all the charges on himself.
