Through Friday, the trade show hosted by the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro is taking a closer look at technological advances and their impact on society, organizing committee president Fabio Queiroz said during the inauguration.
RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Rio Innovation Week 2022, the largest and most comprehensive innovation and technology show in Latin America, is spotlighting technology's social impact this week.
Through Friday, the trade show hosted by the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro is taking a closer look at technological advances and their impact on society, organizing committee president Fabio Queiroz said during the inauguration.
This year's second edition features 700 speakers, 200 exhibiting companies and more than 2,000 startups in a 50,000-square-meter area.
"We intend to leave a legacy for the city by helping to make Rio a perennial pole of technology and innovation," said Queiroz.
