Former Chairman of Tata Sons who took over Ratan Tata after Tata reached 75, but was later deposed in a contentious legal struggle, died in a car accident on Sunday in Palghar, Maharashtra. According to police, he was driving his Mercedes from Ahmedabad to Mumbai when it collided with a divider. Along with the driver of the vehicle, two other passengers were hurt. The injured people have all been transported to a Gujarati hospital.
