New Delhi: In the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season, Delhi Capitals (DC) team captain Rishabh Pant has been punished for getting angry during the match. The IPL has imposed a fine on Pant, holding him guilty of violating the code of conduct. Apart from Pant, the team's all-rounder Shardul Thakur and assistant coach Praveen Amre have also been fined. Actually, DC played a match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Friday, in which Delhi had to face defeat by 15 runs.

There was also a no-ball dispute in the last over of the same match. During this, DC's captain Rishabh Pant angrily signaled to recall his batsmen. For this, he had also sent Amre to the ground. Shardul had supported both of them in this matter. For this, he has been held guilty of violating the code of conduct. Rishabh Pant has been fined 100% of the match fee. He has accepted the charge and the fine. While Shardul Thakur has been fined 50 percent of the match fee. He too has accepted it. Rishabh Pant has been found guilty of violating Article 2.7 rule under Level-2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Whereas Shardul has been convicted of violating Article 2.8 rule under Level-2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

DC's assistant coach Praveen Amre, who came into the field to argue with the umpire and call back his players, has received a bit more punishment. He has also been fined 100% of the match fee. Along with this, he has also been banned for the next one match. Amre has been found guilty of violating Article 2.2 rule under Level-2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
