Patna: RJD supremo and former Bihar CM Lalu Yadav will turns 74 on June 11. The party has started preparations for Lalu Yadav's 74th birthday. This time the birthday is special as Lalu is with his family and not in jail this time after three years. However, he is still in Delhi due to ill health.
Lalu Yadav plans to feed the poor under Lalu's kitchen across the state on the occasion of his birthday. The party on Monday issued a letter to all party leaders and workers in this regard. The letter issued by the party says, "We cannot celebrate the 74th birthday of RJD National President Lalu Prasad as a celebration during this calamity. But his life has been dedicated to the poor. In such a situation, this day is to be celebrated as Social Justice Goodwill Day".
The RJD letter said, "Party workers and leaders will feed the poor through Lalu Kitchen up to the district, block and panchayat level and others can feed orphans, weak and poor people by Lalu Kitchen in their respective places also." The party has issued a letter urging all RJD leaders and workers to follow corona rules in their respective areas. Feed the poor in June 2021.
