The match ended with scores of 7-6(4), 2-6, 10-7, after a hard-fought hour and 33 minutes. The pair triumphed over the fourth-seeded Australian-Czech duo of Matthew Ebden and Barbora Krejcikova in a gripping encounter that unfolded over one hour and 33 minutes on Monday night.

Bopanna and Sutjiadi, who are seeded eighth in the tournament, displayed remarkable resilience and skill to secure their spot in the semifinals. The match was a rollercoaster of intense rallies and strategic play, with Bopanna and Sutjiadi edging out their opponents with a final score of 7-6(4), 2-6, 10-7. The first set was tightly contested, with Bopanna and Sutjiadi clinching it in a tiebreaker, before Krejcikova and Ebden leveled the match by taking the second set. Ultimately, Bopanna and Sutjiadi's superior play in the decisive match tiebreak secured their victory and progression to the next round.

In earlier rounds, Bopanna and Sutjiadi defeated the Australian-Czech team of John Peers and Katerina Siniakova with a scoreline of 0-6, 7-6(5), 10-7.

The Indian-Indonesian duo will next face the American team of Donald Young and Taylor Townsend in the semifinals.

Bopanna, who is 44 years old, has already exited the men's doubles competition. He and his partner Ebden, who were second seeds, lost to the 16th-seeded Argentine pair of Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni in the third round with scores of 1-6, 5-7.
