Big cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane will have to wait longer to start personal training in the city, as the area is in the Covid-19 'Red Zone' where sports facilities are currently not allowed to open. The Maharashtra government has allowed the stadium to be opened without spectators for personal training in the 'Green Orange Zone'. The Ministry of Home Affairs had relaxed the rules for the fourth phase of the lockdown running till 31 May, after which the state government took this decision.

MCA has three facilities Wankhede Stadium, Bandra Kurla Complex Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana, but all these will remain closed as per government guidelines.
