Rohit Sharma, the Indian cricket opener, hit his fourth century against India vs Bangladesh in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.Rohit has become the first batsman to score the highest number of century in a World Cup tournament for Team India. He has also equalled Kumar Sangakkara for the highest century in a World Cup season. Sangakkara scored four centuries in the 2015 World Cup. Sourav Ganguly (3) was the highest scorer in a World Cup for India. It was Rohit's fifth century in the World Cup.

Rohit's 4th century at World Cup 2019

Against Bangladesh, Rohit smashed his century in 90 balls. It was his 26th ODI century. Rohit had earlier scored an unbeaten 122 against South Africa, 140 against Pakistan, 102 against England. Rohit scored 104 off 92 balls against Bangladesh and Soumya Sarkar was out for the ball. He pitched seven fours and five sixes in his innings.
