New Delhi: Good news for Team India visited on Australia tour. Rohit Sharma has become fit and can now play in the last two Tests against Australia. He could not go on a tour to Australia due to unfit. Today, the National Cricket Academy (NCA) has submitted its final report on Rohit's fitness to BCCI.
According to the report, Rohit is fully fit and can now go for the tour to Australia. He is currently in Mumbai. It is said that a decision will be taken to visit Australia in the coming two days. Meanwhile, news reports are emerging that Rohit will leave Mumbai to Dubai on December 13 by chartered flight and then leave for Sydney. However, no official statement has been made in this regard from BCCI so far.
Team India has been placed in a bio-bubble in Australia due to coronavirus infection all over the world these days. They are also not allowed to move out of their group. According to Australian government guidelines, a player will have to stay in Quarantine for 14 days, only then will they be allowed to come out. Even if Rohit reaches Australia by December 15, he will have to pass into Quarantine at least by December 30. It is expected that he can play in the third Test in Sydney from January 7.
