Florida: Indian cricket team vice-captain and opener 'hitman' Rohit Sharma has set a huge world record in the second T20 match against the West Indies at Florida yesterday. To reach this world record, Rohit needed two sixes and in yesterday's match Rohit Sharma made three sixes, making his name a total of 107 sixes in this format.

Rohit has now scored 107 sixes in T20 international cricket, a world record of the highest number of sixes ever been set by any batsman in this international format. West Indies' Chris Gayle is second in the list of highest six batsmen in the T20 International and New Zealand's Martin Guptill is third.

West Indies batsman Chris Gayle has 105 sixes in the T20 International and 103 sixes in New Zealand's Martin Guptill. Now this record has been created by hitman Rohit Sharma, leaving Chris Gayle behind.
