Panaji: Director Rohit Shetty arrived at India's 50th International Film Festival in Panaji, Goa. Although Rohit was not well, he took a master class at IFFI 2019 to complete his commitments and later also attended the closing ceremony of the Film Festival. During this master class, Rohit shared many interesting stories about his film journey.

Rohit says, 'In 2008, I prepared for the remake of Gulzar saheb's film Angoor. I took the story after taking into account some young actors. At the same time Shahrukh came to me and he also talked about filming with me. When I showed Shahrukh the script, he agreed to do the film as has been one of Shahrukh's favorite films. ' Rohit further adds, 'A few days later I got the story of Chennai Express, I liked the script of Chennai Express so much that I made up my mind to drop it. Shah Rukh went to say that now I will tell him the story of this film, I thought Shah Rukh would refuse me for this film because he agreed to the Angoor. '

'When I narrated the story of Chennai Express to Shah Rukh, he immediately agreed and at the same time, the work of the Angoor stopped and is still pending. I will definitely make a remake of the Angoor, but not now, but comfortably, when I make it, I will also make an announcement. If I say now, the press people will write that Rohit's next film will be Angoor.

These days, Rohit Shetty is shooting for the film 'Suryavanshi' with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. 'Suryavanshi' will be released in cinemas across the country on March 27 next year.
