Since its announcement, Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty's Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty has garnered media attention. And the news that the movie has a release date will please the fans of both actors.
According to rumours, Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty will be released on August 4. But as of yet, there has been no official confirmation.
On April 29, the movie's teaser was released, and Anushka's Baahubali co-star Prabhas raved about it. "The teaser of #MissShettyMrPolishetty looks very entertaining," he tweeted after posting it.! All the best to the entire cast and crew!" Anushka shared Prabhas’ post on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Thank you Pushpuuu."
Anushka made her film debut in 2005's Super, a heist action thriller directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Nagarjuna. Later, she co-starred with Suriya in Hari's Tamil action movie Singam from 2010. Later, Rohit Shetty turned the movie into Singham, a Hindi adaptation that starred Ajay Devgn and Kajal Aggarwal. Anushka's biggest break came when she was cast as Devasena opposite Prabhas in the SS Rajamouli-produced Baahubali series. She also played the lead in the 2018 thriller Bhagamathie by G. Ashok, which was later translated into Hindi by the same filmmaker as Durgamati. In the 2020 release of the Hindi version on Prime Video India, Bhumi Pednekar starred. Hemant Madhukar's 2020 thriller Nishabdam, which also stars R. Madhavan, was Anushka's most recent film to be released.
Naveen became well-known early on thanks to his frequent appearances in the sketches produced by the comedy troupe All India Bakchod. In Sekhar Kammula's 2012 coming-of-age comedy Life Is Beautiful, which also starred Vijay Deverakonda, he made his acting debut. He later became well-known for his work on the comedy-thriller Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, which he also co-wrote.
Naveen made his Bollywood debut in the 2019 buddy comedy Chhichhore, which also starred Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor and won a National Award. Anudeep KV's comedy Jathi Ratnalu from 2021 marked another milestone in Telugu film.
