Both the 650cc bikes of Royal Enfield, India's powerful vehicle manufacturer, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 will be expensive from September. The company will raise the price of both bikes by 2%. The initial variant of the Interceptor 650 will cost Rs 5,012 and the top variant will add Rs 5,412. On the other hand, the base variant of the Continental GT 650 will be priced at Rs 5,312 and the top variant will go up by Rs 5,712. Continental GT 650 is priced at Rs 2.66 lakh and Rs 2.86 lakh. The 650cc bikes are the cheapest twin-cylinder motorcycles in the country. These will continue to be the cheapest twin-cylinder bikes even after the price increases. These bikes have a 648cc parallel-twin engine. The motor generates 47hp power at 7,250rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5,250rpm. Both the bikes are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and slip-assist clutch.

For your information, the Interceptor 650 weighs 202 kg and the Continental GT 650 weighs 198 kg. Royal Enfield launched the two bikes at the end of 2018 and is one of the company's most popular bikes. The Interceptor 650 is designed for long-distance riding.
