It is claimed on social media that the government has increased the fee of the railway recruitment board to Rs. 500. The Press Information Bureau has told its tv handle that the claim is misleading. Pib has said that the entire registration fee of candidates, women, and PWDs of ₹ 400 and reserved category is refunded to unreserved and OBC candidates.

Let me tell you that earlier, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi had tweeted information from the Tver handle, in which she wrote that the Railway Recruitment Board's fee was Rs. 60 till 2013. The BJP government increased it to Rs. 500 in 2016. In the name of recruitment from the unemployed, the railway recruitment board has recovered Rs. 900 crores.

रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड की फीस 2013 तक 60 रुपए थी। भाजपा सरकार ने बढ़ाकर उसे 2016 में 500 रुपए कर दिया। बेरोजगारों से भर्ती के नाम पर रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड 900 करोड़ रुपए वसूल चुका है।

According to the viral information, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) examinations have also become a major medium of income for the government. The fee charged by the board in the name of examination from the unemployed was only nine crores in 2013-14. By 2018, the amount increased to 900 crores. According to Khabar, there was no appointment on behalf of the Railway Recruitment Board in 2016-17.
